Nikita Maria graduated from the Applied Informatics Department of the University of Macedonia with an A in 2008 and received her master’s degree on Informatics and Management at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2010 with a scholarship.
She completed her doctoral thesis in the Department of Applied Informatics at the University of Macedonia (Greece) under the supervision of Ms Alexandropoulou Eugenia, Professor of Law in Informatics and received her Ph.D. in 2020.
Since 2015, she has been working in an IT company as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, while also she is an active member of the IT law Τeam and participates in international conferences and European programs.
Her scientific interests focus on data protection, privacy and security issues within the use of new technologies and the RFID technology.
