Eugenia Alexandropoulou - Aigyptiadou is a member of the Administration Council of the University of Macedonia (2023-2026), former Vice-Rector of Financial Planning and Development of the same University (2018-2023), and former Deputy Rector of Academic Affairs and Personnel (2013-2014). She is a Professor of IT Law in the Department of Applied Informatics, Director of the Interinstitutional Postgraduate Program "Law and Informatics" (www.mli.uom.gr), and founder of the Research Team of IT Law (www.itlaw.uom.gr). Among other administrative positions, she has served as President of the Internal Quality Assurance Unit of the University of Macedonia and Institutional Erasmus Coordinator (2013-14), member of the Dean's Office of the School of Information Sciences (2017-2020), and Deputy Chair of the former Department of Technology Management of the University of Macedonia.

She holds a Ph.D. in Civil Law (with unanimous distinction) and a Master's degree in Private Law (with distinction, grade 10) from the Law Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as well as a Law degree from the same department (with distinction, grade 9.1). From 1985 to 1993, she was a Special Postgraduate Scholar at the Law Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She was a scholar of the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) throughout her years of study at the University Institute of Luxembourg and previously of the Ministry of Education and the Athenian Club.

She has been a Lawyer in Thessaloniki (admitted to the Supreme Court), Head of the Legal Service of Northern Greece of "Egnatia Bank S.A.," and a member of the editorial board of the scientific journal of the Thessaloniki Bar Association "Armenopoulos."

She participates in research programs and scientific conferences both in Greece and internationally, is a guest speaker at numerous scientific and professional organizations, and teaches at the National School of Judges. Her scientific research and published work in Greece and abroad cover Civil, Banking, Labor, Procedural, European Law, and IT Law (protection of personal data and intellectual property on the Internet).

She is a member of scientific bodies such as the Thessaloniki Bar Association (1983-2009), the Scientific Council of the Information Society, the Association of Civil Law Scholars, the Scientific Committee of the Hellenic Association of Data Protection & Privacy, the Scientific Committee of the Institute for the Law of Privacy and Data Protection and Technology of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO), and the Scientific Committee of the legal journal "Law of Technology and Communication" (formerly DiMEE).

She is the President of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, an honorary member of the Greece-Cyprus Culture Association, and a member of the "Child's Asylum."
