Despina Vezakidou is a high qualified ICT Legal Counsel, member of Thessaloniki Bar Association. She graduated from the Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki whereas she concluded her post-graduate studies in Commercial and Economic Law. She holds an Executive Development Diploma in ICT Management and Negotiations From Athens Information Technology. She regularly publishes articles related to several aspects of Commercial Law.
She has a substantial ten-year long, in-house legal experience counseling leading Telecommunications Groups in all aspects of the electronic communications and the national and European internet legal framework (Forthnet, former Hellas Online now Vodafone).
Despina's research interests focus on Cyber security with emphasis in Communications Security and Privacy, Information Security, ISP's Liability as well as on Intellectual Property Protection in the digital environment.
